04. Your own community
One of the most underrated FREE resources to get some eyes on your essay are your own friends, family, teachers, and peers!
You don’t need to be the second coming of Shakespeare to give some helpful feedback to someone’s essay! So don’t be afraid to ask someone you know if they can help edit an essay you’ve been working on.
If you’re reaching out to a teacher or counselor for feedback, please just give them enough time to get back to you. You should try to aim for 1-2 weeks before the deadline. If it’s an emergency, 3 days might work if a teacher is really willing to help you. Just don’t get into the habit of waiting until the last minute!
If you know of any other resources, comment and let us know what you use to get some essay help!
